Golden sits exactly where the Front Range begins. Clear Creek runs through the middle of town, the Colorado School of Mines anchors the historic district, and Lookout Mountain rises directly behind Washington Avenue. It is a real town rather than a suburb, with its own farmers market, a Friday-night music scene, and a trail network that starts at the end of most streets.

Mesa View Estates & Sixth Avenue West
